New Partnerships for YOU!

Tyler Childers accepting award at 3rd award show!
I will come back and edit this post with up-dates.....and obviously, these are all subject to change at any time, given the volatile nature of the music industry (haha!)....but am announcing here our partnerships to add value to the awards per our aforementioned REASON #8 (expanding artist opportunities) for the existence of the Lexi Music Awards.

The entire WHY WE DO IT article (13 reasons) is also available...and we hope you can lend a hand there, too!

First, I want to thank Highbridge Springs, Harrod Concrete & Stone, Collins Consulting Group, Ranada's Bar & Bistro, Maker's Mark, and Ale-8-One (our confirmed sponsors SO FAR for the 2020 event!) for making this happen! We also hope to have a surprise on hand from the folks at Paradise Motorsports to help set the mood at the awards show!

We've forged agreements with various music businesses & media listed below, as well as our partnerships with area festivals and venues for guaranteed gig slots!

 Business/media:
Emily Woxihara performing at 5th awards show!

*Michael Cavitt of KYJams has arranged for the non-profit music organization/recording studio to select one award winner to record at ZERO cost to artist (who keeps ALL their rights)! More info as we solidify details!

*April Edwards & her partners at Nitrosonic Recording Studio will be giving away certificates for TWO free hours across FOURTEEN categories (all "style" categories plus best album & best song). That's right, 14 winners (total value of over $2000).

*Dan Shorr of Pops Resale in Lexington (ten certificates for $15 each to multiple categories)

*Conn Craig of Rebel Alliance Tattoo Studio in Versailles, KY ($50 gift certificate to one winner)

DeBraun Thomas accepting award!
And working on more NOW!

As stated above, we are also securing gigs at festivals and venues (ALL, thusfar, are pay gigs) across the state for winners....and hopefully, soon after, nominees.

This process, for the record, is a tad more laborious for all involved. Many of those running the festivals have a larger organization and other people to whom they have to answer (like clearing details through an entire board or decisions are pending due to contractual obligations with sponsors or, in the case of venues, any decisions are always subject to change at the discretion of tour managers, and the like). So the below list is not exhaustive of those involved in talks, it only reflects those who have been able to confirm.

In alphabetical order:

*Blues Between the Bridges Festival in Lexington (winner of "best blues" category)

*BBQ Festival Lexington (category TBA)

*Festival of the Bluegrass in Lexington ("best bluegrass" winner)

*Hot August Blues in Hardin, KY (winner of "best blues")

*Lexi-Fest Festival (categories TBA)

Hoping to announce many more soon!

PLEASE feel free to make suggestions in the COMMENTS section below.....and if you run a venue or festival (or know someone who does), or if you own or operate a music-related business or business that would like to support artists in the manners outlined above (or know someone who would), please reach out!
